From Babies with Love: ‘Go Beyond Ethical’ with their Organic Capsule Collection

Today I am happy to have the opportunity to talk again about From Babies with Love.

Christmas is just around the corner and I know that many of us are busy getting presents ready for our beloved ones. But what about children that have lost their parents? What about the orphans ? Those who are not lucky enough to live in the same conditions than us?

All From Babies With Love profits go around the world to help abandoned children.

I wanted also to share with you the reason why I am proud of this particular brand and why I am happy to present you their collections. Life is all about choices and sometimes, buying from the right places make a difference not only for us but for others too. I am not patronising you I am just sharing what I believe is a great initiative.

fbwl-logo-rgb-9From Babies with Love was founded by former City accountant Cecilia Crossley. After becoming a parent, her concerns for the welfare of children universally were heightened. Whilst out shopping for her son’s baby clothes, Cecilia was inspired by an idea to sell beautiful baby products that returned the profit to help children in need, and From Babies With Love was born. From Babies with Love speaks to the powerful emotions parents feel for the welfare of children. It also appeals to style conscious parents who want beautiful, premium products.

From Babies With Love has been announced Winner in UK Social Enterprise Awards 2016. And it is easy to understand why.

From Babies With Love is the pioneering baby brand that donates 100% of its profits to orphaned and abandoned children.

The annual UK Social Enterprise Awards returned on Monday 28 November to recognise the achievements of British social enterprises – businesses that exist to tackle social and environmental problems. As well as celebrating the work of social enterprises, the Awards recognise organisations that are supporting the growth of the sector – either by incorporating social enterprises into supply chains or by investing in them. The Consumer Facing Award specifically focuses on social enterprises that produce or deliver a retail product or service to the general public.

Following the launch of their own label collections of organic and ethical babywear and homewares, From Babies With Love has successfully quadrupled its support of orphaned and abandoned children since 2015, and now supports over 2000 children in 35 countries worldwide.

Of the award, founder, Cecilia Crossley comments: “I’m thrilled that From Babies with Love has been recognised through these prestigious awards. Winning the Consumer Facing Award stands as testament to our efforts in building an ethical business that delivers beautiful baby products whilst supporting vulnerable children around the world. I hope that this recognition will enable us to continue to build upon that support”.

From Babies With Love’s unique social enterprise model ensures that profits assist orphaned and abandoned children through its partnership with the charitable organisation, SOS Children, which provides loving homes, education and healthcare for children all over the world.

That is why more than anything else I wanted to support From Babies With love for their unique commitment but not only, also because I love their organic collection.

The Penguin character on this charming organic baby grow is designed using vintage postal materials. The unisex design is in French Grey, has appliqué detail on the eyes and mouth to create the modern and fun character.

Matched with the French Grey Little Kisses Knot Hat to complete the look.  In contemporary French Grey, the Little Kisses print is a modern take on the classic polka dot, and the unisex design makes a perfect gift set for both boys and girls.

Forming part of From Babies with Love’s autumn/winter 2016 collection, the charming, Penguin and Little Kisses designs make a wonderful, ethical Christmas gift.

My point of view:

The new From babies With Love Penguin character is just adorable and we, all know that Penguins are must have for Baby’s Christmas wardrobe.

The baby romper is in french grey and made in organic cotton. The garment is soft and warm and well made. I love the quality of the details in the applique and the details in the Penguin character. But this is not new, do you remember the lovely FBWL whale? This soft toy was incredibly well made and with full of details.

The knot hat is my new favourite as I feel baby is so cute in it! I just love her little face when she wears it and is so comfortable, soft and warm. The subtile print gives a sophisticated look to my Baba’s outfit.

I love the card and the reusable gift bag. We used ours to wrap some gifts.
