Moby Strectchy Wrap Review

My journey into babywearing started with my first baby, 5 years ago. I wanted a traditional structured baby carrier before committing to a pushchair and found A MOBY Stretchy Wrap instead. I was really intrigued as I never saw anyone using this kind of carrier near me. My mum used to babywear my sister but I was a pre-schooler so have just few memories. I remember her with her Moroccan embroidered cotton sheet , how she was folding it and how she was managing to put my sister in her back and doing her chores. It was amazing so this wrap reminded my childhood and my mum. I thought I should try! I bought a black Moby wrap. When I received it I was completely L-O-S-T! I did not expect to receive a very long piece of jersey fabric. I was like….emmm, What and How am I supposed to use this? I was quite pregnant when I bought it, should say 8 months so a bit panicky. I looked at all the videos I could find on YouTube and was …

Little Green Sheep Cot Bed Organic Mattress and Mattress Protector Review

Today, I thought it is time to review the mattress we chose for our cot bed and to explain our choice. During five years, we have been using the same Ikea Mattress and bed for our two other daughters. Why? Baba1 barely used them. She co-slept in our bed until she was approximately two years old and then moved to a single bed. She never wanted to sleep in her cot bed. She might have slept in it for 3 hours in 3 years! As you can imagine we absolutely did not expect this and did not choose co-sleeping at first. For these reasons, we did not buy any new mattress or bed for Baba2. Baba2 did not co-sleep with us. She loved sleeping in her Moses Basket and at five months when her Moses Basket started to be a bit too small, we planned to move her into the UN-FAMOUS cot bed. But we went on holidays in France for 6 weeks and therefore brought with us a travel cot. She enjoyed so much sleeping on her travel cot that …

#AlhamdulillahForSeries, a muslim’s mini Gratitude Journal by Ayeina

Few months ago, I have been lucky to discover on Instagram Ayeina. I fell in love with all the beautiful drawings and graphics Ayeina was designing and publishing. Impressed by the watercolors and the deep message Ayeina is sending: Gratitude for each thing we are lucky to have in our life, I was excited to see the launch of their first Mini Gratitude Journal. The day to day life can push us away from our thoughts and we get tuned to be ungrateful and not to see the blessings in our life. We focus all our energy and attention towards finding out what we lack or the not so good sides forgetting the essentials. Being more positive and showing gratitude leads us for a more productive approach to life. And not only it is important To show gratitude in our adult life but it is even more essential to teach this positive attitude to our children. One of the first Surah I learnt as a child and I taught to my daughters is Surah al-Fatihah. Why am …

Healthy Vegan and Paleo Snacks for a starving Bump! {Forest Primal Snack Box Review}

Recently I started to think of my “after birth” Diet Plan. Why? Here are some pregnancy updates: 36 weeks pregnant now {4 more weeks to go! Just keep going…} 20 Kgs + on the scale so far {I know frightening but this is my third pregnancy and getting used to it – no choice really} As you can see I put on some weight but this is how my body reacts to pregnancy. I had the same things for my previous Babas and it has been hard to understand. No more trying to understand, just taking action. After having Baba1, I completely changed my way to view food and Diet. I am now following  a paleo and Keto diet. During this pregnancy, I tried to keep going and still going in fact with my paleo vegan life but had to drop off a bit with the keto one. Coping with the pregnancy cravings is not the easiest thing to do: it is like a constant battle with your stomach and a fight with your dreamy mind! And even …

Toddler Tooth brushing Resistance or how to get a toddler to brush? {Featuring Jack n’Jill Gift Kit}

Last week was all about parenting and I hope you were happy for me to share with you our experience. To close the “subject”, there is still something I’d love to share. Something that we had to face recently. From birth to toddler, things go so fast. Your little one first teeth will make her appearance before you even realise that your baby is not a newborn anymore. With the first teeth starts a new journey: learn your bubba how to take care of his lovely little body and one of this first ever step is to brush their teeth. The first time we introduced a toothbrush in our daughters lives, they always loved chewing on but that was when they were smaller. We hit a roadblock at some point when I started actively brushing their teeth, same things for both. They would get so mad. But even if it is a trial, always some solutions around, just try to keep calm! I tried different approaches hopping that it would work for us. What I have done with Baba1 and Baba2: 1. Distraction: …

Out and about with my Pink Lining Blooming Gorgeous Changing Bag

Hi!   How are you all doing? We have had such beautiful days these last few weeks and we did enjoy the weather and you? I know that recently some of you in UK and France, have had some flooding. I hope you are all sage and secure. My today blogpost is about a mummy essential: changing Bag/Hand Bag. Sorry for the delay on publishing this one but it seems that our Internet network has suffered a lot these few days too meaning I was unable to use as I wanted my connexion. But here we are, trying to keep things back in track. So why a blogpost about a bag? Simply because I have always been a bag Demoiselle/ Lady.  I surely love Bags and a bit fanatic about them meanwhile, I have never spent more that £50 on one ,this being my really higher price. {Little exception here for my so beautiful Lalla Bag from Ilham’s} Once I had my first daughter I realised that having a handbag and a changing bag is not …

REVIEW: NOT impressed by Clean Green Nappy Machine and RNW Taster Set

Hello! Tuesday Today and Real Nappy Week Day #2 As promised, I will try to review a shop or nappy a day during this RNW. And today, will talk about The Clean Green Nappy Machine. I have an emotional attachment to this shop. My first order was placed in 2011, pregnant for the first time and first nappy experience. It was a consequent order: a full set of 15 Tots Bots Bamboozle size 1 and 3 wraps, some fleece liners for a total of £153.07, exactly. I do remember being a bit disappointed when I received my order because the order contained no gifts. I am a very fan of gifts even if they are small. I do feel that a good shop/customer service do add small bits {samples} when orders reach a certain amount even if they run a loyalty scheme. Because purely logical, the Loyalty scheme will not push me to come back when satisfaction will. So because it has not worked for us , I did not “come back”. Then I got …

Babipur Review: A trustworthy and Fantastic Online shop!

Well, good morning! Today, I would like to share MY favourite online shop for Baby things: from reusable nappies to organic clothes! I have nominated BABIPUR!!! By far, the fastest and the most reliable shop in UK. My first order has been made in 2014 while pregnant of daughter number 2. It was not my first nappy shopping experience and I do regret not to have discovered this shop first! How did I find them or how did they find me? At that period of my pregnancy, I was grabbing all the informations about real nappies before buying anything so I enrolled myself in many Facebook groups and this is the Bumgenius one that showed me the way 🙂 And since then, Babipur is my GO FOR shop with no hesitation. Look at my addiction: I do shop in other online retailers to buy the nappies they do not stock. Why do we #loveBabiPur? ~ the lowest price ~the loyality discount of 10% ~ a wonderful and very lovely customer service ~I do call them the …
